Caviro Extra produces renewable energy by processing the by-products of the agri-food and winemaking industries.
Caviro Extra, together with Enomondo, produces around 150 GWh of electricity equivalent per year in the form of electricity, heat and biofuels (biomethane and bioethanol).
Half of the total energy produced goes towards the complete energy self-sufficiency of the Faenza site, while the other half is sold externally.
