As part of the Emilia-Romagna OPEN initiative, on Saturday 28 September Caviro Extra welcomed a large group of guests from all over the region to its factory in Faenza.
The aim of the initiative was to acquaint students and the general public with the region’s industrial heritage, a legacy built on solidity, innovation and research: Caviro Extra accepted the invitation to participate with great enthusiasm, convinced that sharing is a key aspect of Industry 4.0.
The response was exceptional: over 50 visitors, including a large group of students interested in the technical and innovative aspects of the circularity pursued in the processes of Caviro Extra, were able to get a first-hand view of our organisation.
In addition to the visit to the plant and the adjacent Oasi delle Cicogne, there was also lots of interest in our most recent innovations, such as the production of advanced biomethane and the pilot plant for the production of bio-plastics from the agri-food chain.
