The squares and streets of the historic centre have been lit up with lots of exciting activities for adults and children
Once again this year, Caviro Extra has helped make Faenza even more beautiful during this special holiday period.
The main thoroughfares, illuminated with festive lighting, lead to Piazza del Popolo which has been adorned with new decorations featuring planets and shooting stars, offering people the chance to “make a wish” at the end of what has been a very difficult year.
The Christmas tree and the Elves’ Postbox
As is tradition, a Christmas tree has also been put up by the Cathedral in Piazza della Libertà. The fir tree comes from an area in Tuscany where a tree felling programme had already been planned and is lit up thanks to Caviro Extra.
The lighting of the tree marked the start of the festivities and the various activities planned for the Christmas period, including the Elves’ Postbox, also in Piazza della Libertà.
The elves will welcome children into their wooden hut where they will be able to do a drawing or send their wishes or requests to Santa Claus. They will also be able to post their letter to Father Christmas in the special postbox.
Caviro free gifts
Once again this year, the shops of the Faenza C’entro network will be giving customers who spend at least 20 euros a special postcard and card. The postcard entitles customers to two free gifts, to be collected by 28 February 2021 from the Caviroteca in via Convertite: a bottle of Caviro wine plus a 500 ml bottle of hand sanitiser, now an absolute must-have, produced by Caviro Extra alcohol of agricultural origin.
