Technical natural tartaric acid

Caviro Extra’s technical natural tartaric acid is a blend obtained by adding an anticaking agent, silica, to natural tartaric acid. This prevents the formation of lumps and keeps the product “free-flowing”.

Natural tartaric acid

Caviro Extra’s natural tartaric acid is a 100% bio-based product obtained from the processing of lees and marc from the winemaking industry. Extremely versatile, it is free of impurities and extra-white in colour.
It is available in various grain sizes according to the needs of the customer.

Oenocyanin

Caviro Extra oenocyanin is a natural extract obtained from the skin of black wine grapes that is subject to concentration. It is the base for the production of E163 food colouring.

Liquid tannins

Caviro Extra’s liquid tannins (Extra Tan) are a natural extract obtained from the maceration of dried grape pips from fresh and selected marcs. They have a high content of OPCs – polyphenols with strong antioxidant power – effective for ensuring colour stabilisation in red wine, for example.

Grape pips for oil

Caviro Extra grape pips for oil are white and black wine grape pips extracted from the grape marc and dried in a hot air current. The average oil content is 15%.

Caviro Extra grape pips for polyphenols are white and black wine grape pips extracted from fresh grape marc and dried in a hot air current. They are rich in OPCs, i.e. polyphenols with strong antioxidant power.

Red Desulphurised Must

aviro Extra red desulphurised must is obtained from the desulphurisation of red wine grape must.
It is a uniform liquid with a typically fruity smell and flavour.

White Desulphurised Must

Caviro Extra white desulphurised must is obtained from the desulphurisation of white wine grape must.
It is a uniform liquid with a typically fruity smell and flavour.

Grape sugar

Caviro Extra grape sugar is a must obtained from grapes passed through anionic and cationic resins and subject to vacuum concentration. It is a viscous liquid, transparent or straw coloured, with a typically fruity smell and sweet flavour. Organic version also available.

Red Concentrated Grape Juice

Caviro Extra Red Concentrated Juice is a non-caramelised red grape juice, obtained by partial dehydration.
The intensity of the red colour can vary depending on the customer’s instructions.
It has a typically fruity smell, with a sweet and slightly sour flavour.
