As of 1 September, Fabio Baldazzi, Giampaolo Bassetti and Valentino Tonini will be the new directors of the CAVIRO GROUP, the largest winemaking organisation in Italy, which, for years, has stood out for its focus on maximising the value of its winegrowers’ grapes, sustainability and innovation for a better future.
Following the announcement of the resignation of SimonPietro Felice, General Manager of the Caviro Group, who will leave his position on 31 August, the Board of Directors chose to entrust the management of the Group to three high-profile and well-respected figures that are already part of the Group: Fabio Baldazzi – B2B Area Manager, Giampaolo Bassetti – B2C Area Manager and Valentino Tonini – Central Functions Manager.
The new directors will work together as part of a Management Board and will report directly to the Group president, Carlo Dalmonte.
“We believe that the path we have mapped out responds to the current needs of the Group and the market and is consistent with the idea of further developing the skills we have acquired and our internal resources,” commented Carlo Dalmonte, president of the Caviro Group. “The new appointments guarantee continuity, knowledge of the company’s mechanisms and a deep understanding of the complex reality of our Group.”
The appointment of the directors marks the beginning of a new management approach which aims, with commitment and passion, to pursue the company’s core values, such as sustainability, innovation, growth and respect for people, the community and the environment.
