Anhydrous ethanol of agricultural origin

Anhydrous ethanol of agricultural origin is obtained from the fermentation of cereals or molasses and is designed for a wide variety of different uses in the chemical-industrial sector.
Its technical characteristics may vary depending on how it is used. As such, two variants are available (see technical data).
The product has a clear and colourless appearance.

Absolute alcohol of agricultural origin

Absolute alcohol of agricultural origin is an anhydrous and pure alcohol with an alcohol content greater than or equal to 99.9%. It is produced from the fermentation of cereals or molasses and is a versatile ingredient designed for the pharmaceutical sector – compliant with the European and American Pharmacopoeia – and the chemical-industrial and cosmetics sectors.
Clear and colourless in appearance.

Ethanol from wine by-products

Caviro Extra’s wine-based ethanol is a second-generation 96° neutral alcohol because it is produced from the processing of wine by-products such as lees and marc. It is used in the wine sector, where its origins are a compelling factor, and in the food industry, because it is compliant with EU Regulation 2019/787. Clear, colourless and odourless, it has an alcoholic, neutral taste, without additional flavours.

Caviro Extra’s ethanol of agricultural origin – a 96° neutral alcohol, historically also called ‘buongusto’ or BG in Italy – is produced from the fermentation of cereals or molasses and is an ingredient designed for the food and pharmaceutical sectors. In fact, it complies with the parameters laid out in EU Regulation 2019/787 (for the food sector) and the European and US Pharmacopoeia (for the pharmaceutical sector).
It has a clear and colourless appearance and a typical alcoholic odour.
